    US-born Matt Lo brings a management-consultant’s brain and an innovator's passion to hospitality. An early career with Ernst & Young in Hong Kong honed his consulting craft, and offered unique insights into Asian markets sculpting growth strategies for multinational giants. Matt was introduced to luxury travel when he was recruited to join NYC travel tech startup, Porter & Sail, as one of its founding team. Here he learned to see hotels as vibrant storytellers, intricately weaving tales of place and tradition. Matthew piloted Porter & Sail's strategic foray into the Asia-Pacific with a move to Singapore. In 2019, Matt founded Advant with a goal to change the way the luxury sector interacts with patrons in the digital age.

    With luxury adventure hotels in his blood, Sangjay Choegyal’s youth was spent at the legendary Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge in Nepal, trekking as a child with Mountain Travel Nepal. Following a degree in wildlife conservation biology, Sangjay entered global luxury hospitality at the Four Seasons Tented Camp in Thailand, when the property was voted the world’s best hotel by Conde Nast Traveller readers. Sangjay then joined Aman resorts in Bhutan as Aman's youngest-ever hotel manager at 24, and continued on to Sri Lanka where he collaborated on the creation of the Gal Oya Lodge, one of Vogue's top 100 hotels in the world. Hotelier Bill Bensley recruited him to launch Shinta Mani Wild in Cambodia, and under his leadership, Wild earned a wealth of accolades, including a spot on Time Magazine's top 100 Locations. Sangjay then went on to spearhead Six Senses‘ ambitious debut in India: the Six Senses Fort Barwara. This extraordinary career led to Sangjay’s joining Advant, where he has led transformative projects for clients like Bambu Indah in Bali. Among other side projects, Sangjay established the Mutton Cup Polo Tournament in Mongolia.

    Alex Liu has carved a niche at the nexus of technology and entrepreneurship. Holding a degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Master’s in Financial Engineering from UC Berkeley, Alex established himself in quantitative trading at Credit Suisse's proprietary trading desk. There, he utilized algorithms and data science to manage a billion-dollar portfolio and crafted innovative quantitative trading strategies throughout Asia. In 2018, Alex transitioned from traditional finance to the emerging blockchain sector. As a co-founder of Blue Block Group (BBG), he introduced institutional trading strategies to the dynamic world of cryptocurrencies. His passion for innovation led him to co-found Advant, a trailblazing hospitality venture that harnesses his profound expertise in machine learning and AI, aiming to revolutionize the industry.

    Indian-born Pooja earned her undergraduate degree at the College of William and Mary in the US, and an MBA from INSEAD, alongside studies at Cambridge University, in Rome, and most recently, a degree in Real Estate Investment from New York University. Pooja began her career in real estate at JM Financial, one of India's largest investment banks, where she played an integral role in growing the AUM from $750 million to $1.1 billion. She helped expand one of India's largest trading firms, a family business, from one office to seven across India. Now with Advant in Singapore, Pooja has affirmed her reputation for incisive market analysis combined with cultural insight. Having lived in nine countries and traveled to 50, this food critic and mother considers herself a true global citizen.
